La competición de carreras de caballos se reactivó felizmente en España el miércoles 3 de junio, en el Hipódromo de San Sebastián, y nuestro patio lo pudo celebrar con gran alegría, logrando dos victorias, dos segundos puestos y un tercero con los cinco caballos que pusimos en pista. Los triunfos llegaron en la primera carrera, preparatoria de la Poule de Potras (GP Valderas) (1.600 metros), gracias a la potranca Pravia (Dawn Approach), que obtuvo además un bono de mil euros de la Asociación de Criadores por ser la primera nacional en la meta. Nuestras felicitaciones a la Yeguada Rocío por esta victoria, y también damos la enhorabuena a la cuadra Nijinsky por la conseguida por su potro Salar Island (Sakhee’s Secret) en la milla de la preparatoria para la Poule de Potros (GP Cimera). Además, fuimos segundos con Navia (Lope de Vega) (Yeguada Rocío) en el maiden para hembras de tres años, y con Furioso (Lucayan) (Yeguada Rocío) en el buen hándicap que cerró la jornada, y logramos el tercer puesto con Trovatore (Fullbright) (Yeguada AGF) en el maiden para machos. Todos los caballos fueron montado por un muy acertado Vaclav Janacek, a quien agradecemos su perfecta puesta a punto.
Desde aquí queremos agradecer el esfuerzo realizado por todas las personas que han ayudado a que nuestra competición se reanude, antes que cualquier otra en el país e incluso que la del fútbol, y muy especialmente al hipódromo donostiarra y al Jockey Club Español por haber liderado una solución de urgencia que nos sirviera a todos los profesionales y propietarios.
Queremos felicitar a todos los ganadores de esta primera jornada tras la crisis sanitaria y deseamos que en adelante, poco a poco, podamos ir recuperando la normalidad y que disfrutemos todos de nuestra competición y de un gran espectáculo.
